  • I don't know in what sense this fits (is it dead-pan?), but it is scripture:

"And he said: Amen I say to you, that no prophet is accepted in his own country."
    [Luke 4:24]

Please pray for the repose of my soul.

  • Wow. They sure don't have much good to say. And the detractions are all plausible.
And the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

There you go again name-calling.  :laugh2:
“The declared enemies of God and His Church, heretics and schismatics, must be criticized as much as possible, as long as truth is not denied. It is a work of charity to shout: 'Here is the wolf!' when it enters the flock or anywhere else.”
St. Francis de Sales, Doctor of the Church, Introduction to the Devout Life, Part III, Chapter 29

When he was the cardinal archbishop of Buenos Aires he did say that all legislators who vote for same sex marriage and in favor of abortion should consider themselves excommunicated.
