Most of the legal immigrants to the West from the Middle East were Christians 30-40 years ago and they've had time to establish another generation, learn the language and assimilate.
Considering the state of the region today, none of them would ever resettle there.
Therefore, a Crusade today would be pointless. Christendom is still alive in the Middle East and it will be until the end of time. The fact that several strands of our Holy Religion are organic to the region certainly helps.
