  • Amazing timing on your making this thread. I posted the picture in the thread in this forum regarding Ratzinger stepping down , not 1 minute before you made this thread.

And yeah the picture is amazing.  It can mean anything to anyone, but to me its God's natural fury (a very tiny bit of it) at the hubris of this man purporting to be a pope and then stepping down from the supposed papacy.

  • I agree. I think it's a sign of God's anger. Why shouldn't He be angry with what the conciliar church has done since Vatican II?
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • This isn't some random photoshop pic posted on a time-killing humor forum.

It was posted on a news website, and the lightning aspect is completely ignored. They didn't post this as a Tomas-esque "LIGHTNING STRIKES THE VATICAN" headline.

    I think it's real.

  • so it is true then, not some photo shop project.  Boy so are we now to presume that the next pope named is Peter The Roman  after the St. Malachy Prophecy

I think I will faint if it is then go out with full force on the evangelizm of my sincere protestant friends.

Pray and wait so uncanny its a couple of days before the start of Great Lent. Us Catholics are so lucky to have such strong, clear, truth in our hands its up to us what we do with it and how we live it.

Don't forget Ratzinger being attacked by a seagull last month when he attempted to set loose a goofy white pigeon (dove) to symbolize peace or the holy spirit or something. The guy is rightly spooked.

No, a seagull attacked a dove that he released from his window. It was pretty funny.

  • Lightning strikes the earth 8,640,000 times every day.

There have been and continue to be rain storms over Vatican City.  News reports from Rome speak of huddled crowds of soaked tourists following the time of the abdication announcement.

Not sayin' on way or t'other.

    Just sayin' ....

But is it a cool photo?  Sure, why not?
