"Fed likely to keeps rates steady" has a grammatical mistake.

It should be:

"Fed likely to keep rates steady"

This is a large media outlet -- and no one there could catch such an obvious error? And then two headlines down, you have a story about how some middle-aged Americans have a contempt for education... maybe some of them work for CNN?
