In regards to "favorite" not whose better. Besides they have thick skin, they are not hyper sensitive like some bloggers.

St Polycarp is my favorite Saint:
"Eighty and six years I have served Him, and He has done me no wrong, how then can I blaspheme my King and Saviour? Bring forth what thou wilt."
Polycarp was burned at the stake for refusing to burn incense to the Roman Emperor.

I am a little puzzled by your calling Padre Pio "saint" since he was canonized by an anti-pope, as far as you are concerned.
