53 And coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, came into the holy city, and appeared to many.

  • They were Saints and perhaps they were holier than many catholic saint. It is not my word, I red it in a catholic book available online. The book says:" are you holier than David who fell?"
I still wonder. I know that it is not good to judge the Saints. But we have some general rules (eg. Martyrs are higher than many others.) I wondwer if OT saints such as Jacob who enjoyed wealth, health wife and children are actualy greater than somebody like St. Francis who renunced everything for Jesus?

  • I was wrong. OT saints are not greater than NT ones.

Doesn't tradition say that the Old Testament saints resurrected after Our Lord and appeared in public to testify to the truth of the Divinity of Christ and the truth of His Resurrection?
