Right now it's 20.5, "feels like 15" which is pretty cold for south central Texas!
Today we've joined most of the country in experiencing a true Winter day.
However -- how many places can look forward to EIGHTY degrees with lows of 66 in only 5 days?
(I guess you have to know our weather, but that low of "66", when the winds are from the South, is always a very humid 66. And that is barely cool enough to bring one's home below 75 degrees, so people can keep the AIR CONDITIONING OFF. We're going to try -- we'll "sweat it out" for frugality's sake -- but many of our neighbors will not.)
I just think it's incredible that it's possible to be this cold, and yet in just FOUR OR FIVE DAYS the challenge will be "try to keep the air conditioning off".
When I lived up north, we used to consider 80 to be the minimum threshold for "hot enough to go swimming".
