    Monday morning, my PC wouldn't boot! I think my motherboard went out...

    Anyhow, I spent all day trying to procure another system. I'm JUST NOW starting to restore the software end of things...
    and things are twice as complicated for me, since I had 2 hard drives and 2 operating systems -- twice the work!

    I'll be back soon, hopefully.

    • This wouldn't happen to be the system you got from e-bay, would it?  I think you were the one looking at inexpensive e-bay computers, right?

    • No, no EBay.

    He bought a laptop recently off of Craig's List which works fine as soon as he can get our wireless network to function with whatever Linux he has loaded, but the computer in question came in pieces (all new) mostly from NewEgg.
