Neal Obstat hasn't been here since early March. Weird, considering he is such an ...ummm... steady? contributor to CI. Hope you're ok Neil and just taking a break for Lent.
-
Yes, this is giving me a chance to close ground on overtaking him as the #2 all-time most prolific poster on CI ...

I'll never catch Matthew of course.
... unless I were to write a program that would create 5-10 automated spam posts every day, kind of like poche does manually (he's right behind me on the list and closing quickly).
I do enjoy being called a "Hero Member" :laugh1:.

And there was no dramatic farewell post (in which case he would have been back long ago).

Hope he's well.

Maybe abstaining from Cathinfo was a Lenten offering?

I can say he seemed fine via PM on March 5th. I think he likes to take time off from CI now and then, likely thought Lent was as good a time as any.
-
Nice to see
ya you're back, Neil! Where's ya bin?
-
He did pop in for a second.

Speculation that seemed quite plausible at the time. But unless I zigged when I should've zagged in checking his CathInfo profile, Neil has posted only once since Septuagesima Sunday (i.e., February 17), that being on Easter Wednesday (i.e., April 24):

Such an isolated date is not auspicious. So prayers for his good health might be in order more than anyone in CathInfo knows. It wouldn't be the first time that minor physical annoyances while, um, gaining seniority in years, were revealed to be merely subtle indicators of major health problems.
Or perhaps the only major failure he suffered was in a machine in which he placed too much trust as his "ol' reliable" Internet-connected p.c.[#].

Note #: Imagine! Altho' the apple and *nix universes needn't care, Windows XP was released 16 or 17 years ago (2002|2003--no! I refuse to look it up), and MS yanked its support 5 years ago.
