What does her clothing have to do with the fact she was drunk, putting her daughter in danger (driving) as well as other people on the road, and being disruptive?????

Why are you upset; the video was, after all, part of a news story?!! Which means it aired on public television! Yes, it is disgusting. Point is that I can't imagine a 19th-century (or, earlier, or, for that matter, a pre-1970 police officer) lawman treating a woman in that manner, even if she was drunk and even if she was "resisting" arrest!!! If I was a cop, I would not have thrown her on the ground; in fact, I think that I would just let her go and wait for a female officer to come and deal with her. By the way, here's Batman "arresting" a woman:

Yeah, it's just a show, but do you see the point that I am trying to make here?

While the six-year-old child is undoubtedly the innocent victim of this horrendous set of circuмstances, there are no "good guys" here - Not the criminally irresponsible mother, not the brutal thug making the arrest, and least of all the rabble-rousing Jєωιѕн media outlets doing their damnedest to start a race war by habitually placing grossly undue attention on incidents like this.

That image of the woman's head bouncing off the ground replays in my mind. I can't imagine how it must affect those who go through these offenses committed by police.

According to the Chief, this policeman was doing what was he was expected to do, and I might say, how he was trained to do it.

These types of images are how much of the rest of the world sees the USA: as the bully policeman. It is not a pretty picture.

Little sympathy for a woman DWI with a kid. Of course when drunk or high when they get pushed they'll fall differently than a sober person.

Why the OPs obsession with feminine dress attire being the issue is confusing to me

She deserved to be arrested, but she did not deserve to be thrown to the ground, because, she is a woman. Point of the OP is that Society needs to stop treating women as if they were men, and perhaps, women need to stop dressing like men!

Perhaps if women stopped dressing like men, and drinking like men, and behaving like men, they wouldn't be treated like MEN !
