Well... this was made by peters_student and he did it without me even asking him to.

He just said, "what about this one" when everyone was talking about which avatar I should have.

I thought it was pretty cool to have my screen name in their and the person bothered to do it without being asked.

Soooooo, if you think its time for a change, I'll try something new.

But what to pick? :scratchchin:

Not to sound like someone with an ego, but the new avatar should scream El Campy.

El Campy using an avatar that does not display his El Campyness seems too weird.

I would not want to start a debate on your avatar again, but for the life of me, I dislike yours so much, I can make a new one for you if you wish.

Just give me some theme you would like, I'll make one, you can take it or reject it as you wish, I enjoy doing this anyhow as a hobby.

I was cracking up just now reading from Vandaler's post and thinking of the fact of a portrait of Guy Fawkes being in your avatar, El Campy, and the debate that was had over Guy Fawkes. LOL

How about an avatar of a favorite saint of yours? Or how about one of El Cid Campeador? Or better yet of St. James (Santiago) the Moorslayer? Or how about the saint whose name is your confirmation name?

Vandaler, WHO is that guy that you have used in your last 15 avatars?

Actually, I haven't counted -- but I've seen several different avatars used by you, and they all have that same black-haired guy that looks a bit like James Bond.

I wondered if anyone would ever figure it out.

He is OSS 117, a French spoof of James Bond, or more generally, B series spy movies of the 60's.

The actor playing him is brilliant, approaching Peter Seller's genius for comedic timing and self derisive humour.

My current avatar is also a processed version of OSS-117 old 60's spy novell book cover, back then, they where serious French spy novels.

When you are posting a response their should be a small box above the textbox that says IMG. Click that and type in the URL for the image.
