    • I'm in the middle of World War Z at the moment.  It occurs to me (for some years, now), that the idea of zombies is a sort of subconscious vision or awareness of what the mass of humanity will become once they've been reborn into Hell.  

    That is, most people, once they reach Hell, will become raw, violent, eaters of anything beautiful.
