Using all sorts of modern technology, including much that is not publicly known, they can make images appear in the sky, beam voices right into your head, etc.

Also, keep in mind that UFO does NOT mean alien. I'm sure the top-secret and classified aircraft of 2012 would be considered "UFOs" by most laymen.

This isn't hype about a computer glitch. This hype wasn't created by the media at all! Hollywood might have made a movie about it; the media might have tried to make a few bucks off it with a few articles and news stories here and there, but it wasn't their invention. The Mayans didn't talk about Y2K in their Long Count calendar!

The Illuminati, Freemasons, etc. love to piggyback on actual historical figures (Solomon), symbols, rituals (Jєωιѕн Old Testament), etc.

It lends legitimacy to themselves -- or so they wish.



Another thing -- there are some valid questions raised by the 2012 hype:

Are the planets going to align on Dec 21, 2012, or not? That should be easily verifiable by any astronomer.

Is the sun entering a period of high activity, or not?

Have the earth's poles changed in the past, or not?  What about the earth's magnetic field strength?

Is there any evidence in cooled igneous rock that the earth's magnetic field was any different in the past?

These are good, scientific questions.

We ought to make reparation for the all the peoples who shall do stupid things on the 21st of December on account of whatever is going to happen (be it a giant meteor falling upon us, the total disorientation of the planet's electromagnetic field, terrorist attacks, "postal" sprees, riots, the final bees αssαssιnαtҽd, stubbed toes and scraped knees, motion sickness, another Oprah talk show, the invasion of zombies, &c.).

It is not the menaces of the princes of the infernal depths that I dread, nor the perils posed by the created universe anxious to avenge its Lord God Whose sovereign majesty has been so exceedingly offended by sin, so much as I tremble before the stupidity of man and the malice of which he is capable.
