Thanks for your prayers I miscarried tonight off to see the doctor in the morning and go on a date with my 7yr old which I never do.

Not sure what this all meant but have faith that their is a family member or two in heaven praying for our family as we desperately need it.

I hope baptism of desire is legit. In the end it is God who decides who has proven himself countless times full of Love and mercy to those who love him.

We had a JOB year. I definetly feel compassion for Job and those of us who go through trials.
We are not out of the woods yet as we have family issues still popping up and harassing our family life, farm life, spiritual life.

So far dealt with a popped femer in my 3yr old, near death with my husband, a mistake at the emergency which left my husband after a night of hemoraggin on the streets of downtown Vancouver alone (discharged too early after invasive sinus operation which was slowly killing him for 2yrs.
Had a 2ft metal stake hit my 9yr old daughter in the face luckily she has a slight scar to the side of her nose and not a missing eye!
Head injury my son sustained 13yrs old.
1yr old did a head dive onto cement when the car door opened luckily mom had good reflex action grabbed her ankle and she had a few scrapes.
My daughters near perfect gorgeous young well trained horse died of colic unexpectedly.
I had an unexpected pregnancy was sick now tonight a miscarriage and my husband is suffering for 3wks now from painful shingles on the head and into the eye.

Starting to kinda believe in SPRITUAL WARFARE.

Oh and lost a good percentage of our investments in oil due to distractions and not being able to focus on the markets while there was 7 kids to maintain, school, farm animals, large garden, and a moose.

If it don't KILL YA it will MAKE YOU STRONGER!!!

Dear Coptic Cruiser, I am so sorry to hear of your woes, especially your most recent loss of your little one. It is easy for me to say but you know too, that God knows what is best for each of us.

Remember what the great St Teresa said to God once: The way You treat Your friends, it's no wonder You've got so few of them! But of course, she knew that sufferings were really a gift from God to keep her close to Him.

Please don't compare yourself/ves unfavourably with those protestants. They must have their problems that you don't see, and besides they don't have the graces available to them that you have. Just continue faithfully and humbly your role as wife and mother, educating your children in the Faith without too much anxiety and leave the rest up to God. My dear Mother used always say: Do your best and leave the rest. I always found that reassuring.

Look at the family Christ had.  That is, His apostles.  Of the 12, one in despair and hung himself.  Peter who denied Christ 3 times and then Christ actually said to Peter "Get behind me, Satan".

God never promised us a rose garden.  Sometimes we think maybe to ourselves, that "if we do this, or we do that, the end result will be=".

I wish it was like that.  We can have a prodigal son or daughter.

We are compared to sheep and I think farmers consider them to be the dumbest.  They need a dog to show them the gate.

We need to know that our needs are always with the Precious Blood/sacraments and sacramentals. That is a Joy!

If anyone does wrong, they know where the Power is.  We are all given Free Will. Yes, it is sad when things go hairy!  But always remind the children that there is a God.  He sees and hears all.  Be sure to tell your children if they are in sin.

I knew a mother who said she would not think to tell her children, "What you are doing is sinful".  I asked her why?  Christ was known to say "God and sin no more."
She took time and found that Sin was used over a 150 times in the bible.

Our job as parents is to save souls.  When we meet our Maker, we can face Him saying, "I did my job and was not neglectful in teaching the truth.
