Not that I'm an Italian mafioso (nor even Italian for that matter), but I suspect the reaction has been one of much humor, gut-splitting laughter, nose-thumbing, middle-finger-giving, other reactions befitting excommunication by the Frank the Fraud Circus.

I'm half Sicilian, since when was the "mafia" (there is no such thing btw) officially excommunicated by the pope? Is there some kind of link or article stating such a thing?

Anyway, we all know the Church and La Cosa Nostra have always been meshed together in one way or another....... :wink:

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall reading in 'Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ Unmasked' that the Irish independence movement was orchestrated by the masons, who, of course, are the natural and supernatural enemies of the Irish (at least, of the faithful Catholic Irish). It would make sense that they're also controlling the Italian / Sicilian organized criminals . Of course, with so many layers of authority between the most powerful people in the world, and the Joe Shmoes who go to these meetings, etc., there would be no direct connection.
