Diet coke is even worse for you, because Aspartame is a neurotoxin -- it excites neurons in your brain until they die. Not a pleasant thought.

Technically it's what your body breaks down Aspartame INTO that is poisonous...but it's the same difference.

MSG is another neurotoxin -- most people know that one is bad for them.

Yes, I myself had avoided drinking soda especially awhile back, but I think I should do so again. Water, juice, and milk are the best things to drink, although who knows what they put in those today too?

True, you can't escape all bad things, but you can certainly make choices that are better and limit your risk.

Complaining about fluoride in the water, for example, is a bad excuse for drinking Coke, which not only has fluoridated water, but TONS of sugar and caffeine (or Aspartame, if you're drinking Diet Coke)

Kind of a lame excuse, like "Well, we all have to die somehow, so I'm going to snort this cocaine over here..."

Yeah, we're all going to die, but why hastily bring about your own death?
