  • I'm a bit confused about this? With the most recent news of Father Voight receiving conditional ordination from Bishop Williamson, I would like to know more about how this is done.
The two ways I picture it in my head would be one, to have it like any other priestly ordination (litany of the saints, mass, etc.) where the "priest" in question comes before the bishop as a deacon (or whatever orders he may have or even as a laymen) to receive the orders of priesthood. Or second to have it a little less formal and just have the bishop do the imposition of hands and recite the matter of the sacrament.
If anyone may have some incite on how this is done would be great. Anyone who may have details on Father Voight's conditional ordination would be great as well!

Because we owe a debt we cannot pay.
