I want to thank Mathew for creating and running this forum. I truly believe it is the best Catholic forum on the web. I know that we can be a heated crazy bunch at times, but I have learned a great deal about the true Faith from the arguments and posts of the forum members. Heck, reading Dulcamara's posts alone are always fun. I wish I could write as eloquently.

I was surprised at just how similarly Matthew's views on certain topics seem to mirror my own - and he's a Traditional Catholic. Good fella in my book :applause:

You're welcome, Sedetrad, and anyone else who feels the same way.

I remember a year ago or so on Fisheaters there was a discussion about CathInfo, and several members noted what an interesting bunch of people were here. Nobody ever says that CathInfo is boring. Crazy maybe, it's been called "a Sede forum" more times than I can count, but nobody calls it boring!

One of them was particularly shocked to learn that Roscoe and one other poster (can't remember who) were here on the same forum. One member responded, "you're kidding! That's gotta be interesting!"

I must say, I was happy to read that. It made me appreciate the variety of membership we have here.

I agree this is a special forum.

Where these forums start to go bad (in my experience) is when the forum gets so overrun by non-Trad or TINO's (Trad in Name Only) trolls it ceases to be of any real educational value for the posters.

Here there is a fundamental outlook that 95% of us share, though we differ on various subtopics and details. As long as we keep the vast majority of posters having this "sane" Traditional worldview, I think Cath Info will be a great forum for many years to come!
