Thank you, Trinity!  I tried posting again, but accidentally hit the "PM" button instead of "Reply".

Thank you for the "welcome".  This seems a lot more true to the traditional teachings of the Roman Catholic faith than what I've seen elsewhere.   I'm glad someone recommended this site.

Hi there Ancilla. I'm a bit of a lurker but feel encouraged by your registration. Someone else to agree with can't be a bad thing.

I try to respond to posts when I have time  :detective:

And there are a lot of good discussions going on, with an increasing number of active users.

If you post a good question, I guarantee someone will answer it. In fact, if you start a good thread, it will certainly get somewhere.

You know what, Daniel.  I wish someone would disagree.  Argue the point, thresh that wheat, get the blood running and the gray cells cooking.  Then maybe we could come up with some of the answers to some of the questions.  Let us not become as polite and politic as the NO.  And above all let us not believe that we hold the whole truth.  No, lay it on the table and let the truth be revealed.  In this way we can all add to the collective store what we hold in our own store, get rid of some false ideas we may be holding, and grow!

If you want to make a really big difference in the world, add to the store of truth and love and diminish the store of lies and pain.  Furthermore, if we could lay aside our fears and let the truth be thoroughly revealed on this forum, I venture to guess this place would be one of a kind.

Speaking of which, there is a thread on mental and physical fatigue which needs threshing.

Chant,
I disagree with you on the need to disagree.

As for politeness, I don't put that on the same par as tolerating and respecting every immorality.  Politely disagreeing is a good thing, even while one is firm and outspoken in expressing the truth.

It was Trinity, not me, that said we need to disagree.

"Politely" disagreeing is what I had in mind.
