i felt it in nyc. i thought it was construction or a very big truck going by, but then things really starting swaying more than usual and i knew i was experiecning something exciting and new.

I was driving (I'm from northern Virginia) and I did not feel it. Apparently I pulled in to a Dairy Queen as soon as it ended because when I walked inside, people were still hiding under tables and hanging on to each other. I didn't know what was going on.

We had a 4.2 aftershock which we didn't notice. At least I pray it was an aftershock.

Talk about 'divers places' !
