  • Mythology and lore are one of many sub hobbies on interest. Tonight is considered with the circles of evil one of worst dates of the year, thus a good time to get that rosary and Mt. Michael prayer going though throttle.

For those of who remember Fantasia 1940, the scene on Bald Mountain IS Walpurchisnact in all its deviltry.  Thankfully with the morning bells Chernobog (the black god) is drive back to his eternal damned rest as are the lost spirits,

The amount of souls heading exponentially into the Abyss is likely higher than all the inflation rates of the world.

I wish the wiccan pagan fools would be granted a version of what awaits them. along with Hitler on this day of his ѕυιcιdє. and rest of the entourage of denizens

If not the ole bullet to the cranium is a gesture of mercy. Of course we have this traditional staple.

  • Odd seeing a post about this.  Unfortunately I was unaware of yesterday's status so I did not think to say the prayer to St. Michael with particularized intention.

But I write it's odd seeing this here because I first saw the term crop up a few years ago in a piece of Japanese media, which aired around the same time as the Fukushima incident.  Wasn't aware the term had actual, real-world significance.

In the Roman martyrology, St. Walburga's Feast -- a day that commemorates
the date of her canonization -- is on May 1, though it isn't celebrated
liturgically on the 1962 calendar [nor is it anywhere to be found in my 1945 Fr.
Lasance New Roman Missal]. Her Feast is, however, a great holiday in many
European countries, especially in Germany, Finland, Sweden, and Eastern
European countries, and the celebrations begin on its eve -- the night of 30
April -- a time known as Walpurgisnacht.
