I found this on a very mainstream forum (on a comedy video series website -- not exactly a financial website!)

Watch these videos in order... seriously, just at least watch the first part, and if that doesn't grab you, then you can skip the last 4. However, it's really amazing where actual money comes from. Very very informative!







Maybe some of you knew this already, but to me, this was a real eye opener!


To which I responded:

Those videos are about 1/2 of a % of what I've read and studied about our world (and the economy in particular)

Everything in those videos is absolutely true.

The scariest part is how we "need" to grow our economy by an increasing % every year or it's GAME OVER. But eventually we'd have to grow by so much, we won't enough oil/land/minerals/etc. to do it!

So, basically, nature steps in and says "Enough!" and that's when the music stops.

Most people don't realize that a 5% increase each year -- every year -- equals a PARABOLIC RISE, not a slow steady rise. Eventually you have to go straight UP.

That's why things are collapsing right now, and it's not over yet, sad to say.

Know what else is scary? Our money system -- a FIAT money system, or one where money is brought into existence backed by nothing -- is destined for hyperinflation like every other fiat money system in history.

True experts know that EVERY fiat currency ends in hyperinflation (a wheelbarrow of money to buy a loaf of bread -- google 'Weimar Germany' or 'Zimbabwe inflation')

There's no fundamental reason why this won't be us someday:
