Please vote for my 12 year old son Dominic's entry in this contest. He stands to win a tablet. He is the organist at St. Dominic's Chapel, a chapel of the Resistance. He also volunteers with sacristan, maintenance, and janitorial duties. He even helped hand-mix and pour many of the concrete sidewalk slabs (in the very important house --> chapel sidewalk) over the years.

His entry certainly belongs in the top 3; possibly even the #1 spot. God willing!

Alas that Facebook has to be used to vote in this matter. For those of us who useth not and despiseth yon Facebook, we shall use the efficacious means of prayer to request victory for thy son. :D

I dont know what religious apps Android has, but for iOS there are some great ones for Traditional Catholics: BrevMeum,iPieta, My Liber to name three i use regularly. Nothing wrong with a tablet or iPad as long as the person using it is moral, upright and the like. :)

The photo with "Ranger's Apprentice" book cover and a boy holding a bow has 56 likes, the next closest is 35 with "No Talking," and two boys facing each other. Which is the one Dominic did?
His name is nowhere to be found as far as I can tell.

Then Julie Andrews, why, she doesn't look a day over 39. Could be it's all makeup, though.
I heard she had surgery on her vocal chords and now she can't sing anymore. Sad. I hate it when that happens.

What are the downsides, if any, to opening a Facebook account - one that is not "more than a few minutes old?"  Does false information have to be provided if you just want to open an account which will be for in your words no "more than a few minutes old *nudge, nudge*?"  If so can it be morally justifiable according to Catholic teaching?  Just asking!  I am no expert on Facebook and my inquiry is in no way meant to be seen as being facetious.  Far from it, although based on what I know about it, it is something that I would never want to sign up for and particularly so if I would be signing up under any sort of false premises even though I realize that this may be a somewhat common practice when done for a sort of "throw away account."
