So, you're arguing that although they were super careful and competent and used the best physicists and engineers available when it came to simulating the lunar launch and landing, they didn't bother doing anything with all the rock samples that they intentionally gave away, so that anyone with ordinary undergraduate training in geology could tell they were not genuine? "For that amount" they couldn't get a geologist on staff?

Those peddling that the moon landings were a hoax seem quite willing to manipulate data to fit their agenda. Especially Bart Sibrel, who edits film to say things the film doesn't say, which is intentional deceit. They continue repeating the same stuff even after it has been refuted, without any apparent attempt to address the refutation.  Why? I have to posit because dishonesty makes them money - even the youtubers like Dubay make money from peddling their deceit. They may or may not be Jєωs, but they display an ongoing pattern of deceit in their allegations the moon landings didn't happen.

As Neil Armstrong looked on in silence, Aldrin took communion. The first foods ever prepared or consumed on the moon were the Body and Blood of Christ.

I also just learned of this.  Assuming it (and anything else is true):  

(1) I had heard that Neil Armstrong was Catholic, and this is why he merely looked on in silence.
(2) This was a Protestant communion service.  It most certainly was NOT the Body and Blood of Christ.

It would make sense (and consistent) to have fake communion at a fake moon landing though....

Even if all of the above was free from lies, call me weird for my complete disinterest in space exploration, then and now.  I know that lots of men, Catholic and not, traditional and not, are fascinated by and enthusiastic about outer space, "aliens," and the like.  Call me weird, and I'm sure many here will.  I am at a loss to understand the purpose of "exploring" uninhabitable planets and other celestial bodies.  And that's why I'm underwhelmed with this "anniversary."

Does it occur to those fixated on "space" that there's a reason why all the planets except Earth, not to mention the moon and sun, are not meant for humans?  Hmmm.  Maybe He wants us to stay here, be its stewards, and live our earthly lives as fully and in the holiest way possible.  It seems weird to me to spend so much time exploring everywhere else but Earth.
