I have watched so many clips in recent weeks that I cannot recall where I saw it, but I saw one making a very reasonable case that Kaku, for all his learning and calm demeanor and clear-speaking delivery is more an agent of TPTB than a friend of the masses.

Have you seen the stories about moving gov't HQ from Tokyo to another city?

Imagine if we had to move ALL gov't operations from DC to NC! That kind of move would be a logistical nightmare and it would cost a fortune.

Japan will NEVER be the same, and many of the little disruptions in our global, hyper-complex system of production and trade will only get worse as the months pass. This situation, coupled with $4 gas in the US, could very well be what we will look back upon as the clear beginning of the next, nasty leg downward. $4 or $5 gas, as it continues to creep upward, will be like successive, thunderous body blows to an already-weakened man who's already reeling and up against the ropes. The only question is: What will serve as the final, tremendous upper-cut to the head that will send modern civilization to the mat for good. :boxer:

Thanks for the observation -- I was only judging him as a source of information. At any rate, my post proves how good of a job he's doing of convincing the masses that he is their friend. He certainly comes across as a truth-teller cutting through government lies.

Nevertheless, the scientific facts he puts forth are no doubt true.
