    Vatican supports gun control

I suppose this is a logical step.  The NO has spiritually disarmed Catholics, the parish school is intellectually disarming the next generation, now it's time to physically disarm everyone else.

This program will leave people totally defenseless:  spritually, intellectually, physically.

Wonder when they'll start disarming the Jєωιѕн Defense League and the I.D.F.?

    Just kidding.

Seems that there are none so blind as those who will not see...

Soon the Novus Ordo will declare a new "saint":  Saint Obama "the Great"!

This ought to show us that Bishop Fellay is a loon.  He is doing everything he can to get INTO the apostate's lunatic asylum when should be doing his best to get OUT of it instead.  "Saint Obama"?

Goes to show the Novus Ordo is "one sick puppy."  "Saint Trotsky" anyone?

  • The article headline should read as either:

"Vatican"praises Obama's gun control plan as 'step in right direction,' backs firearm limits

    or

Lombardi at the Vatican supports gun control.

  • No surprise that the Masonic Vatican supports gun control. Can't have a nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr without gun control.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • For people who lie all day, the truth just doesn't matter. Obamatard is not even eligible to be "Prez". The "White House" birth certificate is a blatant felony fraud, and anybody who knows anything knows that by now.

Besides being a Marxist, and a morally and intellectually unfit miscreant, unsuited for any high office, he was never born in Hawaii. He is from Kenya.

The Sandy Hook and Aurora "Batman" shootings were staged by "illuminati" compartmentalizations. They were "inside jobs" ... like Libor and 9-11.

    Dear Brother Sigismund,

No, it means we oppose restrictions on OUR guns.  It means we need some well-armed ROMAN CATHOLIC state militias.  But as for the non-Catholics:  What are they to us?  Whether or not those measly Prot monkeys have guns is of little consequence.  (Time for a little Catholic Pride here!)  What good would they be capable of doing with firearms anyway?  May as well herd a bunch of harmless house cats.

What this means is that we require a ROMAN CATHOLIC military power.  And a REAL such power too.

He who forms such a power is going to own the future of the human race!

What this means is crystal clear:

    VIVA CRISTO REY!!

Ever stop to wonder why so many non-Catholics ( I know they mean nothing to you, of course, but there are BILLIONS of them around ) seem to have a real hard time understanding why the anti-Catholic agitprop artists aren't right?

From Jack Chick to Abe Foxman to Barry O, the juvenile, no - make that pre-adolescent!, over-the-top ( and grossly misleading ) "rhetoric" your distorted "zeal" compels you to "proclaim" to literally any bigot on the globe with internet access, your name is being hailed, toasted and saluted.  You're making their job infinitely easier!

Try a little Sun-Tzu along with your catechism refresher course.  You might actually learn something about what ALL of us are up against.

    Great job, Frank.  Great job.

Making no mistakes is what establishes the certainty of victory, for it means conquering an enemy that is already defeated.
    - Sun Tzu

And, Frank, it is ALWAYS a mistake to hand your enemy volatile propaganda with which to beat you, your loved ones and your friends to death.

Measly Prot Monkeys?  Yeah, I am sure language like tha twill help convert them

There are not going to be any Catholic militias formed in this country, and we all know it.

I own two guns.  Both are registered, and I proved I was not a felon to get them.  This is fine with me.  People may disagree of course about the best way to handle an issue like this.  It seem to me that some here believe that it is somehow uncatholic to believe that any gun control is appropriate.  I am just not convinced of this.

  • Why is B XVI blessing the work of a man like Obama who is as pro abortion as could be possible?  Obama once said in public that is one of his daughters became pregnant he wouldn't want them punished with a baby.  He views babies not as a gift from God but as a punishment to be averted.  That is an evil viewpoint.  One that reduces humans to objects, and not even prized objects like a nice gold fountain pen but as something disposable because it has no material value.

My point is that Obama isn't particularly concerned with children except as a prop for public consumption.  So, please see Obama's call for any gun restrictIon as nothing more than a naked  power grabs that tyrant's have done from time immemorial.  We can always ask ourselves as to why the government wants us disarmed and at the mercy of criminals?  Not to mention that by banning firearms we are having more of our moral agency.  An unarmed populace also is more likely to cower and snivel and plead for its master in the government to come to their rescue.

We're already living in a Masonic, officially atheist nation so I refuse to bow nor to genuflect to them.

So, what does my post have to do with the current "Vicar of Christ"?

Only to point out that Our Lord drove demons out, He did not bless their works.

  • I don't think it is actually a Catholic or non-Catholic issue.   All our rights come from God (not the government), and He bestows those rights on every man regardless of whether or not that man even acknowledges His existence.   God has given us the right to defend ourselves whether that is from an intruder, rapist, or a brutal totalitarian regime.

Gun control means hitting your target.  What our government ultimately wants is citizen disarmament, at which point we will no longer be citizens.

Remember the last group in this country that was not allowed to own firearms?  Black slaves.  Why?  because if a slave is armed he is no longer a slave.  He has the means to ensure that he lives in freedom.  If/when we allow ourselves to be disarmed we will all become slaves.

  • If Brother Francis is truly a brother, it seems disrespectful to refer to him in a common manner ("Frank").

You may not yet be disarmed entirely, although legislation has been and continues to severely restrict what you can buy, how you can buy it, and ammunition.  However, you are all already enslaved.  Many talk as though slavery is something yet to happen.  All your natural rights are now controlled by the barbarians.  If they are still 'permitting' you to enjoy some of those rights; i.e., owning a gun, it is short lived.  Confiscation may begin, who knows?  But is not necessary.  The populace are ridiculously easy to manipulate and within a generation most will have adjusted to UN standards of no guns, predominant in the rest of the world.

I'd like to see a thread on the Catholic theology of slavery.  Do I remember correctly that Dr. Horvat wrote something on this topic?  Pardon my bad memory - I read it more than 10 years ago.
It is right that we see our situation honestly and speak in objective language.   The acknowledgement of truth permits us to better serve each other, thus the Father,
These are the times of great saints.
