Oh,Myrna, I have so much to say to this video!  It appears to me that catholics are being brain washed to think that change takes place at the polls.  And I would add to that, the legislature.  Now, one would think, maybe, why, sure why not.  Well, that video left out the most powerful; the Mass, rosary! Look at the state of Maine. A dioceses there took up a 2nd collection for legislation to accept same-sex marriage.  The dioceses lost $80,000.  Now there was more to the story, but the point is, this is wrong in so many ways.  One being, that it takes no money to testify.  I testified once myself against a bill coming from the Dept. of Health.  They had abortion hid in making more visits for pregnant women to make a better out come for the baby.  Thank God they lost their 1 mil.  That did not cost me anything but my time and some gas. But I did learn that things of this world are not changed in the legislature, editorials,or even notifying VIPs.  Maybe by 10% but it was the Mass and Rosary that do by a larger margin!!  The 2nd thing I see in the video has to do with the insurance and contraception/abortion mandated by Federal Gov't.  I do know and I think al  lot of us know that we were given a lot of truth about CCHD and Catholic Charities.  We were shown just where the peoples money is going to.  The Bishops know even more, for that is their business to know.  This is the hardest pill to swallow, that the New Order Church of Bishops, and the United States Bishops are not pro-life as the claim to be, but are by their fruits/monies anti-family.  I and other women for the state of AZ decided to see just who was THE enemy putting sex Ed. in the schools THE Organization was the New Order Bishops. ( I read Federal Grants)For every $1 of the peoples money given to the Federal Gov't for their programmed agendas(United Way and other nice looking so-called charities) they get $3 back!   I remember as a teen, that our principal (priest) told all the families in our hall, on stage, that the Federal Gov't continued to offer money and books and such, but even though we were in debt we would continue to refuse the offers of the Federal Gov't to remain "Catholic".  This is what has happened, we lost our Catholicism.  We lost it from at least 1970 and sooner according to the findings of when CCHD and Catholic Charities were founded.  So, now we have catholic institutions, (claiming to be catholic) suing the Federal Gov't for mandating contraceptives/abortion.  When the catholic institutions took the Federal Gov't monies, they also said YES to all the rules and directives.  The Bishops took on Fed. Grants to teach condoms and ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity, for example in Tucson.  That dioceses was sued by the information I brought forward and lawyer from that area.  THat lawyer was able to get the grant and those grants are very explicit.  The Bishop and Federal want as their goal/target the parents by using their children to bring the info home tot the nest to make attitude changes, that bring change to behavior.  The scientific use of KAB; change the knowledge, changes attitude and behavior.  This works with contraceptives/abortion.  Anyway, I believe that these organizations that will be suing will lose because the Bishops USED THE RIGHT of the 1st AMENDMENT and read all the details and signed on the line knowing that they would be supporting contraceptives/abortion and that is taking place in many charities.  Look at Cox Charities.  School-based and linked clinics.  These serve contraception and abortion.  COX brags that it is not using Public monies.  It takes public funds to become Private.  Once the Private funds are used they go to over rides.  The school clinics are also paid for by United Way, and tobacco tax and honeywell, how about Frys food and drug store.  The biggest money making projects next to war, is just this. Family planning in any way shape or form makes big bucks.  In order for any institution to survive they MUST take on the agenda of abortion/contraceptives that make $$$$.  So, there, I said it!  I am done chirping!  I really hope this get around, because, there will be money coming from somewhere to pay for the suing and the waste of money and all the efforts that people think that money can not buy!  To me, it is a form of liberated theology being implemented in the minds of the people.  The sad thing is that we have lost the right to read Federal Docuмents!  I know b ecause they were mailed to me, then I had to go after them, then I was told copies were !0 cents each, to the copier is not working.  Then the docuмents only show cover letters to the public and when the rest forms the docuмent they leave the state and go to the DC area. After that even the Freedom of Information act does not work, you must sue!  

Songbird it's great that you were able to do that, and sad to hear about the American church being so greedy. It's understandable- America has been about money from day one, it seems, but I agree that once any Church or 'church' takes the government's money, it is compromised. The gov. doesn't give without expecting something in return.

I told my priest that I refused to vote, because I can not in good faith support ANY American politician, and I further said I do not feel Christians have any obligation to participate in any worldly political system. He was displeased to hear that the Republicans won't get an extra vote (as if they would ever deliberately end abortion- their single biggest vote-getting issue!), but agreed that I was not obliged to vote.
