I remembered when this happened all of us at the Church and school were so upset knowing that someone cut off the head of our beautiful statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Lourdes grotto.

Today it is a different story, we are so happy to have it back, see below the article in the local newspaper today.

I am wondering if there is a meaning behind this or just another act of vandalism were Our Lady wins out again.

That's just wickedly evil. It astounds me still how many people absolutely hate the Blessed Virgin.

How wonderful for the woman to take the time to investigate, a lot of folks would have just shrugged their shoulders and chucked it.

I think she was inspired because I heard through the grave vine that when they came up to the Mount, to bring the head they were so impressed with Mount St, Michael, they had no idea... God works in strange ways.
