A lots of these stats are misleading.
For example, the U.S. leads in total crimes. What no one speaks about, though, is that we have a very large minority population that constitutes the majority of our crime stats. Germany, France and the U.K. have large Muslim minorities, which account for the bulk of theirs. Take away the minorities, and the crime statistics drop drastically. The safest, lowest crime states in the U.S.? New Hampshire and Vermont; their white population is over 95%.
As for divorce, many European countries have incredibly low marriage rates; they favor cohabitation instead. So if these couples break up, there's no "divorce statistic" to count.
CO2 emissions. The U.S., China and Russia are huge countries; three Europes would fit in one U.S. No surprise there, as far as I'm concerned.
It's always fun to bash the U.S., but I don't take reports like this too seriously.
