OK -- it seems to work now.

The control panel works completely once again --
Feel free to make changes now.

I still get an error message when I try to change my e-mail address, Chant.

Ok -- I forgot to actually test changing an e-mail address -- I was just happy that you could get into Control Panel without an error.

 :smash-pc:

And I only "disabled" (rather than removed) the Name Formatting thing -- so I figured it would still allow the Control Panel to work (which apparently depends life and soul upon that first field...)

I'll keep talking to the author and figure out a solution to prohibit changing the formatting of one's user name, while allowing the Control Panel to work.

Anyhow, it works now. I tested it even!  :farmer:

What happened to the "Edit" option next to the "Quote" button?

I was able to change my e-mail address.  Thanks.

Also, an edit button would be nice once again, but I can also understand why we no longer have it.

If anyone has something serious they need to edit, they can always PM or e-mail me. I'll be happy to correct typos, etc.

Just use the preview button to catch them before you post -- or read it over once without using the Preview function. You'd be surprised how many mistakes can be caught just by being an ounce careful (doing a quick proofread).
