That she's not "cute" like they were trying to portray her in the 1992 election.

Look at her face -- she's ugly. And I don't just mean superficially either -- it reflects the ugliness of someone who is pro-abortion.

I think the soul and body are so closely joined, that evil in the soul even makes one's countenance to be much uglier.

I know that skin-deep beauty doesn't matter -- but if you look deeper in Hillary's case, you'll be even more horrified!

Oh, and since I'm such a big fan of THE TRUTH in all cases, you can imagine how much I detest the modern practice of "managing the public image" of the various presidential candidates. Let's let people see what they really look like off-camera for a change. Let us vote for the REAL candidate, not for some scripted version with heavy make-up, perfect lighting, teleprompters, and tons of post-editing.

I find this very shallow. She is a 60 year old women and looks like it. Period. The last thing she is running on, is on being cute. Everyone reading this has experienced personally seeing bad pictures of themselves. We know these grotesque images don't represent us and aren't the mirror of what we are essentially..

If you want the TRUTH. Take issue with her program from her website (not some slanderous out of context collection of quotes) and outline your case and why you disagree with her.

Or perhaps just be honest and say you attack her looks just because she is a women.

But more to the point, you support one of the least charismatic character running in both parties (Which I don't see as an issue, but by extension, one would think it does matter to you)

Ron Paul looks like a wrinkly kid with white hair with little or no authority. When I see him, I always expect him to bust out a violin and invite all to a square dance. I'm kidding, but I don't find him to be a commanding presence. But I don't let myself be governed by such shallow images. No one else should either.

I'm not sure how long you've been following U.S. politics, Vandaler, but in 1992 she DID INDEED try to help her husband run for the presidency by looking "cute" in all her pictures. She tried to appeal to the "soccer moms", etc. Just look at the hairstyle she had back then. You can tell what image she was going for -- she wanted to look as young as possible. It's the same reason BILL Clinton dyed his hair -- and it how black/white it was depended on who he was speaking to.

As for Hillary, I think we wouldn't know where to begin as far as critiquing her "program".

As I said before, I'm for candidness and honesty above photo ops, scripted speeches, teleprompters, and make-up artists any day.

That is why I found this website interesting -- besides the fact that I'd rather see a baboon get elected president than Hillary.

Honestly, that is what first ladies do in the measure that it's possible (Barbara Bush being a notable exception).

She is now running for President, and her manner is quite different, which is also to be expected. One of my objection with the post - other then it be unfair - is that you attack something that isn't there. She is not running on the same image then in '92, so there is nothing to compare in the first place.

If her program is so easy to attack, you should have little trouble to do so, and have no need to resort to such artifices. I'll personally have much more respect for your outline done in such manner even if in many cases, I would probably disagree.

And no, again, I would not vote for her. My interest in U.S. politics is where it affects foreign policy and in as such, I would support Joe Biden, or would write in Karl Levin who both I consider the most knowledgeable and practical in those area.

I should have been more clear in my last post.

No one on CathInfo (to my knowledge) would even DREAM of voting for Hillary -- so I would be wasting my time coming up with a detailed critique of all her official positions.

To use a an analogy, when you are walking on the sidewalk and encounter a pile of dog feces, do you get out a test tube and magnifying class, and analyze the smelly pile, or do you plug your nose and move on?

Well, that I guess is fair.

One thing I do credit the Clinton's with is to bring out the worse out of their enemies. So, where it is that you feel that when you speak of her, not the least amount of decency is required, you certainly confirm it. I have very rarely read anything intelligent on her account in those circles.

I digress, and leave you guys to your scatological political analysis.
