On July 17, 1794, Sixteen Carmelites of Compiegne, France, were sent to the guillotine during the French Revolution. On the same day, but a little over a hundred years later, on July 17, 1918, the last Imperial family of Russia, the Romanovs, were shot and killed by the Bolsheviks. Two Revolutions, two executions. One was forewarned and given the remedy with the Consecration of France to the Sacred Heart, the other was forewarned and given the remedy with the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart. France was consecrated too late. We are still awaiting the Consecration of Russia. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Most Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
