  • On July 17, 1794, Sixteen Carmelites of Compiegne, France, were sent to the guillotine during the French Revolution.  On the same day, but a little over a hundred years later, on July 17, 1918, the last Imperial family of Russia, the Romanovs, were shot and killed by the Bolsheviks.  Two Revolutions, two executions.  One was forewarned and given the remedy with the Consecration of France to the Sacred Heart, the other was forewarned and given the remedy with the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart.  France was consecrated too late.  We are still awaiting the Consecration of Russia.  Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.  Most Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

But one thing is necessary. Mary hath chosen the best part, which shall not be taken away from her.
    Luke 10:42

  • We  had a Bishop who was filling in for us at our chapel and he said that we should be making time and praying the whole Rosary (Glorius, Joyful, and sorrowful).  Even if we had to break it up AM  lunch time and PM...

May God bless you and keep you

Yes.  And keep up our First Friday and First Saturday devotions while we still have priests and chapels, because who knows what tomorrow may bring.

Agree, wholeheartedly! The St. Louis Marie De Montfort method is my favorite.  Extra masses all the way around may be what helps us keep the mass of all time.

Viva CR, so true what you relay about praying the whole Rosary.  I often think on the time wasted throughout my day, for example on a forum, and how the time could be spent more profitably.  What is an hour a day, to aid in the sanctification of souls?!
