  • It's a BBC production called "Threads" (as in, the threads of society, which are quite fragile).

It was done back in 1984, but it's interesting. A lot of people were scared when this was aired.

It's 13 parts of 9 minutes each. For those of you that are impatient for the "action", I'll give you a hint: part 4 (or was it part 3) is where the bombs start dropping.

  • It does give you some things to think about, as far as preparations are concerned.

I can't say I learned a lot, but then again I've read a LOT of information on survival.

I think it's a good series, even if it IS doom and gloom.

  • There was a movie made in the 80's called the Day after with Steve Guttenburg that was really good but threads is far more realistic. I recommned both.

  • Today, because of the advanced technologies. If world war 3
should happen. nuclear :incense: intercontinental missiles can now travel at
the speed of light. There will be no warning of an attack.
One moment you are alive, and next moment you and the
rest of humanity are thrust into eternity.
You will never have time to say a perfect act of
contrition. This is why that we must stay in the state of
grace at all times, and avoid mortal sin.
