Fortunately, neither myself or my children are in a position to have to make this decision. I will continue to avoid flying at all costs, only now instead of fear of a plane crash, add in the fear of being abused in the TSA line, or worse having this done to my kids or watching it happen to others' children.
I do not forsee any reason that I will have to fly anywhere...
Unfortuately, my husband has to fly often for his work and he is basically stuck. He's trying to make as many trips as possible by car ... .he has yet to go through one of the new scanners, or been subject to increased "screening" by a TSA operative.
I'm afraid that this is going to continue onto affecting bus and train travel and maybe eventually those "fruit" checkpoints in between states will actually be "terrorist checkpoints."
For our own safety of course.
