  • is a video about how the TSA is infringing on people's rights and dignity.

Just wanted to ask everyone here what they would do if they wanted to fly. Would you go through the body scanner that shows you naked or would you get patted down on your private parts while the whole public looked on?

  • I would find a private pilot to fly. I dont how you would go about that if you wanted to go overseas to somewhere as distant as Europe or someplace else.

If this keeps up I am sure that there will be private airlines opening up that will keep the TSA out of their business.

  • Fortunately, neither myself or my children are in a position to have to make this decision.  I will continue to avoid flying at all costs, only now instead of fear of a plane crash, add in the fear of being abused in the TSA line, or worse having this done to my kids or watching it happen to others' children.

I do not forsee any reason that I will have to fly anywhere...

Unfortuately, my husband has to fly often for his work and he is basically stuck.  He's trying to make as many trips as possible by car ... .he has yet to go through one of the new scanners, or been subject to increased "screening" by a TSA operative.

I'm afraid that this is going to continue onto affecting bus and train travel and maybe eventually those "fruit" checkpoints in between states will actually be "terrorist checkpoints."

For our own safety of course.

  • I just read a story of soldiers returning from Afganistan and were searched by TSA and had nail clippers confiscated from them. That is soldiers carrying machine guns and pistols! This should give you an idea of how rediculous this is!

  •   My family too don't fly. Though we have no TSA and even the process of searching your pockets and things is done by the genders seperated, we fear a plane crash. As we fear topoloth.

  • You are more likely to die in a car crash than you are in a plane crash. But I must admit, it is a bit nerve racking flying in a plane, especially when there is turbulance.

yes but in your car you have control, you can decide to obey the rules, keep the engine in order, drive with caution etc. but in a plane many things are out of control from weather to humans and even the plane's engine etc.

  • I didn't like flying to begin with since I don't like heights, but now I really have no desire to fly. It's a violation of privacy to have the government sticking their hands all over and around us. Pretty soon you will see these body scanners and maybe even the pat downs as well at grocery stores, sporting events, train stations, etc.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

Then it will end in total nudity everywhere. "why to dress if they see your body?"

  • There has been a very few discussions about the cancers
this will cause that may show up in people perhaps
months, and years in the future.
Scanners uses  radiation like X-rays in hospitals.
Also, I wonder how often the TSA workers changes
their gloves in the pat-down. It is a good way to
get someones diseases from often used gloves.
In the Doctors Office, the gloves are disposed
every time after treating a patient.
