This is a great topic.

Well to kick off: rense.com and whatreallyhappened.com are worth a quick daily scan.

Speaking of canada.. globalresearch.ca is great for analysis, also zerohedge is often ahead of the game.

Personally, I like to stay afloat of what the modernist listens to. I listen to NPR on my way to and from work. I think we must know how our enemy thinks. When they start getting up in arms with the ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ agenda, I hear it from them first. I know what to look out for and expect next. If you have a solid foundation, and actually know how to filter all the misinformation, you can listen without any real danger. And I would MUCH rather listen to NPR  and know that it's liberal and evil than a pseudo-"conservative" station like Fox and pretend I'm somehow more conservative, and getting a more accurate story.

Recently I have been reading:

Yeah I don't think of Fox as alternative news. I'm thinking more along the lines of news sources not owned and operated by Jєωs.

The Steve Quayle, zerohedge and blippitt sites are new to me. FYI, blippit has barely-censored porn pics in one of its recent pieces. And it appears to be a run-of-the-mill news blog.

Steve Quayle info about giants looks interesting. Zerohedge won't be much use to me because I'm illiterate about economics.

Is Angelus still a good read? I stopped looking at it around the time the SSPX took anti-Jєωιѕн articles off one of their websites.

I don't read lewrockwell much anymore because it's too Jєωιѕн. And RussiaToday is Jєωιѕн too, even though they'll cover news the big three networks won't touch. The annoying host Alyona Minkovski is one of the tribe, daughter of a famous Jєωιѕн-Russian figure skater.

I often read interesting things on globalresearch.

I would recommend Father Feeney's newsletter The Point. It was published back in the 50's. Though I'm not a Feeneyite, I've found it very interesting reading: https://fatherfeeney.wordpress.com/

Hadn't noticed that on blippitt however I only read the home page, not the celebrity stuff.

They seem conservative, even had a petition to end planned parent funding, which I signed on their home page.

Yeah, I do the same thing. I sometimes watch the modernist trash on EWTN just to see how the modernists think.

I want to , but I can never bring myself to stay on the chanel very long without getting upset. I can always count on my wife who has to hear me yell at the modernists on the tube and get annoyed by them. I can always count on a, "Well.. why don't you just change the channel?" there's nothing like ruining someone's good mood by watching EWTN!

LOL. Trust me, watching the modernist stuff on EWTN isn't easy. Mother Angelica and the movies about Saints and Fatima are about the only good stuff they have on there. Journey Home is ok too.

Other stuff, most notably Life on the Rock (or Life on the Crock, as I like to call it, since the show is modernist crock), Fr. Benedict, Crossing the Goal, and of course, the Bogus Ordo, are all modernist.

To know what the enemy is up to with their news services, just put BBC and CNN and what-have-you as an RSS feed on your browser or news reader, then just glance at the headlines for a few seconds a day and you have all you need to know. It's all rubbish. It has gotten so bad now that BBC makes Pravda look honest. It is not a good idea to flood your senses with disinformation because it will only cause confusion and throw you off the truth trail.

I do use the mainstream news services however for corroborating information, and to better understand the establishment's narrative.

Do not watch television. Every minute you do is a minute of your life wasted.. actually it's more like five minutes wasted for every minute watched.

Might I also recommend not to use your regular browser to look at news services, but instead use something like Tor. In the US browsing the wrong kinds of news services can place you in danger in the near future.

I know this guy and will say he is passionate about the truth in the stuff he blogs about.

Why do you say near future? What do you think's going to happen?

Rense is interesting, but not trustworthy. Rense publishes Szymowski, the idiot that claims the Jesuits run the universe.

While the political persuasion ranges from the errors of socialism to the errors of libertarianism, http://www.activistpost.com (http://www.ActivistPost.com) is an excellent assemblage of news.  You must, of course, use your own Catholic discernment in analyzing what they present.

Another similar such site with a bit more emphasis on the economic news that drives current events:
