My guess is that the pro-TLM group in Malta was trying to distinguish between its own Catholic sensus fidei and the apostasy-laced, sodomite-laden jebbie from hell and his swishy visit to a site of great historical in Church history.

They're not going to tell you what they really think. They have a
different agenda, one that requires them to overlook such things.

I guess so to. There is a decent guy there who's quite outspoken and never sets foot in a Novus Ordo temple. It's his badge of honour I suppose.

My family in Malta boasts a long and blessed line of clerics - overhwelmingly Dominicans - going back centuries... including a bishop interred at St Paul's in Mdina and my own late, beloved great-uncle who was the second longest-serving rector of St. Dominic's in Valletta, established as the mother parish of the city by St. Pius V himself. So news like this not only outrages me spiritually, but on a deeply personal level as well... Those churches where the priests of my family offered the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are now completely bereft of the Mass of Ages, and instead host the likes of this detestable, heresy-spewing, limp-wristed, mincing clerical pufta, whose ilk our blessed and saintly patron St. Pius V sentenced to die the death they so richly deserved.

It puts me, as Chesterton once phrased it, "in the mood in which men burned witches."

Eight years? How sickening. How one can be so dangerously and stupidly slothful in dealing with a crime of this magnitude, I may never understand.

If a man of the clergy has the gall to commit such an act, he should be defrocked and thrown in prison or the highest punishment possible. Simple as that.
