    Thank you, ma'am.

I have to say though that the pants arguments do get tiring.  And I say this as someone firmly on the anti-pants side.  No matter what forum they happen on the feminist harpies seem to have a beacon in their brains that attracts them to such threads.

I'm not an FE forum person, so please excuse my question which will make me sound dumb, but how do I read the article that they are responding to?  I can't figure out where I'm supposed to click.

As far as the responses, comparing overweight women dressed in dresses designed by, Omar the Tent Maker, to a publicity shot of Audrey Hepburn, is definitely comparing apples to oranges, or maybe watermelons to cantaloupes.

Lol, I saw that too. It's the lengths some have to go to "prove" that pants can be more "feminine" than dresses. It proves nothing to me except that Audrey Hepburn is more physically attractive than the ladies in jumpers. More physically attractive does not equal more feminine. I don't have any of those jumpers but I sure wouldn't knock anyone who does. It's fascinating how modesty is a slur now. "Paper sack, Little House on the Prairie" "parachute" etc... from one's own kind. It's really sad.

This links you to page 2 of that thread. Just go to page 1 (see the pages on the top left side) and you'll see how it all began.

  • That's an oxymoron.  You can't be a feminist and a traditionalist.

From what I read on this forum by a some of it's members, it's my understanding that if you pop over to FE or CAF, someone over there should be able to explain how it's possible. :laugh2:

Ah, you think you're quick, the're actually books published with the following titles, The Path of a Christian Witch, ChristoPaganism: An Inclusive Path, and Christian Wicca: The Trinitarian Tradition.  There are more, but I didn't want you to have (even though you're still young), a heart attack, stroke, etc.  :faint:

As I said, aint no surprise. Ever heard of a Heavy Metal Monk? There's an article somewhere here on Cathinfo about one in Italy.

lol. Im afraid the oxymoron "catholic-heavy-metalist" used to apply to me, until I gave up christian rock music when I turned 14. I just realized that the rock music and the evangelical messages mixed into one were ambiguous, so I just started listening to the more worldly and more or less satanic stuff because the ideology and messages behind it were more consistent.

I gave up rock almost altogether about a year ago, but I still sometimes write some of my poetry to metal music (in my head) to cultivate a certain theme.

In this day and age, the melting pot is open to all.

  • Skirts are more appropriate, especially at Church. And I mean long ones, not short trashy ones. Pants are ok as long as they are not too short and are worn at home, and maybe at un-casual events. Although, I've heard of some Traditional Catholics who don't even wear pants. Heck, the ladies in the Duggar family on tv (who aren't even Catholic!) don't wear pants.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.
