TDD?  Apparently not yet!  Remember the Protestant heretic, Harold Camping who set May 21, 2011 as Judgement Day?  Got hundreds of people to quit their jobs, sell their homes, put up billboards and ads on TV and his radio station, Family Radio?  Well, we're still here in daylight on May 24, although Harold has had his Particular Judgement.  I really do not understand why even some Traditional Catholics are obsessed with date setting and Apocalyptic events when Our Lord Himself warns us away from it.
I am glad to hear someone saw a single meteor and a fox!  In New York, we had a torrential rainstorm and a bolt of lightning struck the new "Freedom Tower," a lot like St. Peter's upon the election of Francis.
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

  • This was a little different in my opinion, since the event really did happen, a meteor shower, it just wasn't the three days of darkness.  Maybe the three days of darkness are only symbolic, like 300 years of living without light.
The blessed candles are the Faith, and  the Faith protects those who held on.  Don't look out your windows because you will see the sin and corruption of the world, where the enemy has no sharing of God's life, (grace) they are dead souls.

On the other hand, I pray God will end this crisis soon, and spare all of our loved ones from another day of darkness.  I want so much for the Church to rise again.
Also I never believed the TDD were the end of the world, just the cleaning up of it.  Harold Camping really believed it would be the end of the world, end of time.  Before that end of the world we must see the Church rise again.
    Please pray for my soul.

Myrna, my comments are not directed at you.  I'm sorry if you took them that way.  I want the same thing as you do, the restoration of Christendom.  I was speaking in general and more about those who seem eager for God's judgement to fall, as if they are so holy as to assume themselves spectators rather than fellow sufferers.  Camping and his followers were a good example of this phenomena that ought not be found among true Catholics.

Generally, I confine personal rebukes to PMs, and send them only when I think there is a reasonable chance of the person listening.

  • I never took your comment as being personal at all, I just wanted to reply because like so many I was curious if this was really going to develop into the Three Days that so many Traditional Catholics think about.

I think we all know that there will be a chastisement someday, and many think it will be some sort of cataclysmic event.  This could have been it, and maybe it stillwill, who knows what that dust that is falling upon the earth NOW contains, and who here knows the mind of God.

I don't feel anyone is so eager in that they feel better than others, but eager, yes, because knowing we must experience God's wrath before the Church can be restored is a given, at least I think it is.

I had some extra water stored, and other food stuff, thinking all along my adult children and grandchildren might need these items.  Just as St. Joseph took the child and Blessed Mother and fled the danger, so we too must be prepared, SOUL, and body.
    Please pray for my soul.
