There are tons of pro life sites but hardly any sites telling you how to adopt any of these babies.

She might want to look into open adoptions vs closed, so she could pick the couple and vice versa.....yrs ago, we tried this......long story short, we did not adopt, God's will, but many do and this is somewhat more preferable......another option might be within the Church, ie, pastor might know of someone to match her to...or a network....

Catholic Charities have some good people and some bad eggs, same as everywhere.

They are probably the best bet, because they do not exploit birth mothers. Their home studies are brutal, like all home studies are. This is just a fact of life for domestic adoption agencies, no getting around it unless you can afford $50,000 and a private broker. But foreign adoptions have a huge disruption rate, are very expensive and rife with corruption.

If they did not make an issue out of where you go to church on Sunday, taking a stand on Tradition would be very imprudent. It would be the birth parents who choose on the basis of photographs and letters describing who you are. The birth mothers love their babies very very much and want them to be raised Catholic. You would meet the birth parent(s) on a first-name basis and be willing to send along progress reports to the Catholic Charities people. In other words, being compassionate, grateful and kind to the birthmother instead of just wanting a baby. This is helpful as the kids get older and how they came into the family becomes an issue.

I am a big advocate of compassion for birthmothers.

true, we have 3, used to be 4, very good Catholic MD's in my small parish, 2 of them are husband/wife and run a pediatrics practice..

Thank you all for your information.

Also, it is good to know about toddlers too. That sounds great.
Children with no parents like an orphan would be good.
I think the homestudy thing has me worried. yikes.

When we went to Mass, the Priest was late because of delayed air travel. So after praying the Rosary We went downstairs and saw bulletin board for services provided by parishioners and saw one for catholic charities so we are going to give them a call.

My husband was so impressed by the Altar boys who were so holy and not one boy talked or smiled and some of them were very young too. At our last chapel there was only two adult men.

And compare these altar boys to novus ordo altar servers is big contrast.

Being around all these big families with their children makes you want to adopt..
