  • Does anybody know where  I can find inofrmation about the Benedictine Third Order?

Obviously I am talking about the traditional third order. There are plenty of novus wacko oblate websites that are a waste of time.

  • Try the Traditional Benedictine monasteries. Your best bet would probably be with Fr. Raphael Arízaga. He speaks English, and his monastery is in Colombia. I don't know the name of his website, but I'm sure you could find it easily. He was formerly with the Benedictines in Silver City, New Mexico. He's an excellent priest.
We conclude logically that religion can give an efficacious and truly realistic answer to the great modern problems only if it is a religion that is profoundly lived, not simply a superficial and cheap religion made up of some vocal prayers and some ceremonies...
