  • Does anyone know of any traditional Catholic religious orders for men in the United States or Canada, preferably requiring vows of poverty and living a contemplative lifestyle?

I've tried using Vision Vocation's Match program to find orders, but the ones it recommends for me don't seem very traditional. Usually looking at the websites of different orders is enough to tell, especially the photo galleries.  If I see pictures of people receiving Communion in the hand or extraordinary ministers of holy Communion being used, I kind of question it.

  • The SSPX itself has monks and nuns as well as its priests.

There are also Orders affiliated with the SSPX.

I have found one for you in the United States, specifically New Mexico.

Again, I do not know much about their rule; however, you can find the information on the link, I'm sure.

  • With regard to Vocations:

The CMRI is the best group that I can recommend.

    They also have brothers.

    Here is their website:

    http://www.cmri.org/

Also, they have a Vocations page which I think that you could find useful:

Francis is an Antipope. Pray that God will grant us a good Pope and save the Church.
I abjure and retract my schismatic support of the evil CMRI.Thuc condemned the Thuc nonbishops
"Now, therefore, we declare, say, determine and pronounce that for every human creature it is necessary for salvation to be subject to the authority of the Roman Pontiff"-Pope Boniface VIII.
If you think Francis is Pope,do you treat him like an Antipope?

  • To anyone who is deciding about a Vocation.

Pray to God the Holy Ghost for Guidance and Light.

Pray to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for Guidance.
