Traditio does lie.
I've caught them in several lies.
They exaggerate, they are sensationalist, and they outright lie at times.
That's why I don't read the site, and prefer that articles there NOT be posted here. If there's any truth to a story, it will be found elsewhere too.
It's not like Traditio has news correspondents all over the world, and sometimes they get a scoop...
No, if they alone carry a story, it's because THEY MADE IT UP! It's just a couple guys with a website; remember that.
Succinct and accurate, Matthew.
Some readers might need to see it explained that Traditio gives out 'hints' that
would seem to indicate that they have 'news correspondents all over the world,'
while in fact they only have a few volunteers or regulars who send in stuff, but
nobody has any way of verifying who sent it or what the occasion really is, or
whether it's reliable. And if you do send something in that they use, you'll find
their version hardly matches what really happened.
If you want to see how responsive they are, pick just about any post and send
an e-mail to make spelling or grammar corrections, and find out for yourself.
Pompous, proud and haughty are characterizations that are not alien to accuracy.
Even if they're wrong, they persist in their error with pride. If they were running
the SSPX it would be in a LOT worse shape than it currently is!
