Traditionalists Rout Newchurch "Authorities" and Maintain Control of Church
In the Face of Traditionalists' Perseverence, Newchurch Has Completely Succuмbed

    St. Stanislaus Kosta
The Beautiful Traditional Altar at St. Stanislaus Kosta Church in St. Louis, Missouri
Two Newchurch Archbishops Did Everything They Could to Defeat the Traditionalist-Leaning Church
But the Pastor and Congregation Persevered against Newchurch for Ten Years
And Completely Drove out the Newarchbishops in a Victory that Has Stunned Newchurch
St. Stanislaus Is Now Completely Independent of the New Order Sect and in Control
Newarchbishop Robert Carlson Was So Thoroughly Bested that He Gone into Seclusion

More than any other source, we TRADITIO Fathers have consistently covered in detail in our past Daily Commentaries the "good fight" of Pauline proportions that the traditionalist-leaning pastor and congregation of St. Stanislaus Kosta Church, of St. Louis, Missouri, waged against the totalitarian regimes of the Newchurch archbishops there. When Newarchbishop Raymond "Bully" Burke, then his successor, Robert Carlson, tried to steal the traditional church from its congregation in order to sell off its property worth more than 10,000,000 U.S. dollars, to pay off for the sex crimes of his Newarchdiocesan clergy, the pastor and his large congregation revolved and uttered a thunderous No!

The lovey-dovey Newchurch bishops will in fact not brook any challenge to their assumed totalitarian authority, so "Bully" Burke Novus-Ordo "excommunicated" St. Stanislaus's pastor, Marek Bozek, and several members of the church's board of trustees. So, with his large congregation backing him virtually unanimously in a public vote, the courageous pastor and his congregation took the Newarchdiocese to court. Bozek also had earned the respect and support of the wider religious community in St. Louis, which Newbishops Burke nor Carlson had not.

It has been a long ten years, during which these traditionalist-leaning Catholics never gave up. They are a public example of the fact that the true Church of Christ will be victorious, if only its members persevere. In the face of such perseverance by the traditionalist-leaning church, the Newarchdiocese backed down; it completely withdrew its appeal and acquiesced in the trial court's decision in March 2012 to maintain full control of St. Stanislaus in the hands of St. Stanislaus's pastor and board of trustees. When the trial court had ruled 100 per cent against the Newarchdiocese, "Bully" Burke's successor, Robert Carlson, threatened that he would appeal the decision "all the way to the Supreme Court, if necessary." But in the end, like all bullies, Novus Ordo archbishop Carlson backed down.

St. Stanislaus has willingly agreed not to represent itself as affiliated with the Newchurch of the New Order, Incorporated. Why would it even want to be affiliated with the corrupt organization? It is now fully independent of that organization, as confirmed by the court's decree. It retains complete control over its 10,000,000 traditional property.

In a very traditional response, the victorious pastor Bosek said that his congregation would not be celebrating its victory "in deference to Ash Wednesday." Newarchbishop Carlson was so non-plused that he wouldn't even make a public comment and went into seclusion. Of course, Ash Wednesday means nothing to the New Order sect, which, in its unCatholic delusions, rejects virtually all forms of penance because it pridefully views itself as perfect and above the law.

And what happened to Raymond "Bully" Burke, who had made such a mess of the situation? Benedict-Ratzinger was forced to pull him out of St. Louis in 2008 and put him in a sinecure in Newrome, where Burke could be carefully monitored and controlled, so as not to cause more embarrassment to the New Order sect. [Some information for this Commentary was contributed by the St. Louis Post Dispatch.]

Good Catholics, learn a lesson from the courageous traditional-leaning pastor and congregation of St. Stanislaus Kosta. Never give up the fight for the Faith. All these Novus Ordo bishops are just bullies who think that all they have to do is throw their weight around and make empty threats, and traditional Catholics will back down like cowards. The pastor and congregation of St. Stanislaus clearly show that in the Newchurch of the New Order, all is vain huffing and puffing, and that traditional Catholics indeed can and will blow down the rickety house of the unCatholic Newchurch, if they but have the courage.

Now, consider the following from Wikipedia:

Under Marek Bozek's leadership the church, in a decaying St. Louis neighborhood, has grown to 500 despite 200 of the original parishioners leaving. Bozek's non-orthodox views include allowing priests to marry and permitting women and ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs to be ordained. Transmogrification of the issues from property to doctrinal issues has alienated traditional parish members and attracted new progressive congregants.

  • Apparently all that is needed for Fr. Morrison to regard you as a traditionalist is to say bad things about one's bishop.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

Not exactly the best source either.

    That was disgustingly blasphemous.

Who are these people? Drinking champagne in the church as celebration??

As I watched that, I had that sinking feeling again of the times I was in Novus ordo back a few years ago. Never again.

Well he says "traditional leaning" and the pictures of the church look traditional but those pink vestments didn't look very traditional. Having just watched that video again, I'd have to say yeah, traditio was pretty far off the mark when he calls them traditional leaning.

The Polish Catholics in Michigan are not like this.

  • OK, thanks Thursday.

I looked for some more info and some recent thread shows that its actually some "schismatic from the Conciliar church" group that wants married priests, etc.

Now things make more sense. Whats sad is it looked to be some expensive Conciliar church building, but now is taken over by people even worse than the Conciliar church.

  • This St. Stanislaus church is probably more heretical than your average novus ordo church.  They refused to go along with the advent corrections of 2011.

The priest has stated that he's in favor of priests marrying.

    The 'congregation" hired a priest???

I get it that Tradio is in favor of siding with anyone who opposes the concilliarists but this church is "too conciliarist for the conciliarists".

More power to them though for sticking to their guns.

Bozek was dismissed from the clerical state by Pope Benedict XVI.

  • Traditio needs to do a little bit of homework before they jump to any conclusions.

Traditio, a fun website, needs to issue a correction and even apologize because they really got this one wrong - way wrong.  The readers of Traditio are unlikely to have all that extra time on their hands to check and doublecheck everything Traditio puts out.

I stopped trusting it a long time ago. "Father" Morrison is not a real priest and I think he just says provocative things he thinks will get him support from people who are gullible.

Saying he is not a real priest is going a little far. He was light years ahead of everyone else on Bishop Fellay and his old commentaries are there to prove it. Everyone talked about how irreverent he was when he talked about "Bernie" but look at what Fellay has done know. Same with those little smiley faces he had next to the parishes in the latin mass directory, people were offended that the SSPX parishes got those unhappy faces, but look what's happening in the SSPX now. And, he commented repeatedly that Ratzinger would abdicate on or near his 85th birthday.

I'm not saying he doesn't have his faults, this latest incident is proof enough of that, but you don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water.

  • Traditio looks rediculous for celebrating the victory of the church this thread is about and for saying they are "traditional leaning."  However, the Traditio site is resourceful in some regards (TLM directory, liturgical calendar, list of good Catholic books, etc.) and I appreciate what they provide.
