The man received a puncture wound in his back, lying over his wife as the tornado went over their house.
    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

  • Now there you have a good husband. A much better one than these foolish jerks who cheat on their wives with other women. What a crazy tornado season this has been. Prayers for his soul and also for victims of these tornadoes in Missouri and Oklahoma.

Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  • A traditional Catholic family in OK lost two children. 3 yo and 15 month old boys. Pregnant mom and daughter are in the hospital. The dad was away in TX, working. :(

From a friend of a friend of the Hamil's:

    Quote
My in-laws went up to see Catherine (mom) and got to talk to her parents, Rose and Jim Hill. After asking how Catherine was doing emotionally, Rose said she told her that she prepared her kids, Cathleen (5), Ryan (3) and Cole (16 months). She told them "we may die today." Cathleen was perplexed, and Catherine explained that the storms were very bad, that they needed to pray and prepare to see Jesus today. After praying, Cathleen said, "okay, Mommy, I'm ready to go see Jesus!" They climbed in the bathtub, Catherine placed a mattress on top of all three kids, and laid down on top of it!

Catherine told Rose (her mom) that she did everything she could, she prepared them.

I'm in total awe of this brave, Catholic, faithful mother! She truly did what she was supposed to."
