  • 11: Cannibalism:  That eating people is okay.

Oh wait, that was Vatican II.
Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

He's referring to one of my earlier posts where I mention the Uruguyian plane crash survivors who ate their dead comrades inorder to survive for 72 days in the Chilean mountains. The question was asked of Rome whether they needed absolution for this act of cannibalism. Officials of the Church returned with the assurrance that they had committed no sin in eating the flesh of the dead crash victims inorder to survive.

on another thought, what does his jib have to do with this particular post is beyond me..he seems to implying an insult toward Mormons, thats a way to bring 'um in  :roll-laugh1:
