  • I finally had to ban Tomas --

He has at least twice posted pictures that I had to delete -- I can't keep THAT close of an eye on this forum. If there is a significant danger that someone is going to post something bad, and dozens of people will see it before I check in here -- I can't take that risk.

More importantly, his Catholicism -- assuming it exists -- is a rather strange variety, to put it nicely.

I am a strong advocate of Fatima, but I wouldn't say it's a dogma -- besides not being true, it's also missing the point entirely. Fatima is an approved apparition, a message, several prophecies, and several warnings. Dogma it is not.

I enjoy Mexican food, but I don't claim it's the only way to travel cross-country. That would be ridiculous!

We really do have all the extremes here -- it's enough to make your head spin!  Raoul says Fatima is not genuine (I won't blaspheme Our Lady by repeating his exact words), while Tomas says it IS the Catholic Faith right now.

CathInfo is a regular nuthouse sometimes...

  • Yeah, don't offend the ladies either.  They're a bit edgy as of late.

  • Matthew, I was shocked to see that picture. The statue was bad enough. He is preaching to the choir here. We know that things are upside down in Rome (and the world). People need to learn, but the sad thing is we already know it and other "Catholic" sites might want to learn where you can by copies for their homes and Churches.
This situation is leading so many to despair.

  • Matthew, good call, he seemed unhinged and was upsetting the brethern here (term used generically, not limited to men).

lets try to pray for him and move on.
Proud "European American" and prouder, still, Catholic
