Believe it or not, usually, everyone gets their underwear all in a bunch when at Christmas for example a Christian symbol is placed on public property.
Yet, this weekend look at all these "Christians" invited to Washington D.C. National Mall for unity with the encouragement of the POPE OF THE NEW CHURCH, his approval. (Notice I did not say of the Catholic Church because there is a difference)

The page doesn't mention any cross or symbol like that to be held up on public property, or made part of the gathering.
But they openly say that all these Christians will be praying together, and it's happening with Pope Francis' approval, they say.
Here is the one sentence where his name is mentioned:
He celebrated that Southern Baptists, Hispanic organizations, African-American churches and even Pope Francis will all be a part of Together 2016.
But there is no mention of Francis being there, obviously.
It's another instance of the pope at least appearing to approve of Catholics praying together with non-Catholics.
It's the church from all backgrounds — Lutherans, Catholics, Pentecostals. It's going to be worship, it's going to be prayer, and it's going to be lifting up Jesus and praying that He changes our hearts individually.
