  • We have a troll on this forum, a stooge named "pox" who apparently either has no gainful employment to attend to, or is being paid by his heretical club of wealthy elite neo-"Caths" to disrupt this forum and inhibit discussion of other valuable topics.

(Do not doubt for one minute that The Powers That Be, well-represented among the members of pox's elite cabal, are not alarmed by the growing popularity of the Traditional Catholic Faith and are eager to squash it before it gets any bigger.)

Anyway this poster simply inanely repeats (or is being well-paid to repeat) the same long-ago-disproven arguments and is tying up much valuable space and the time of many of Cathinfo's best posters with his tripe.

I suggest we simply stop responding to any of his posts and move on with other, more important matters.

Or massively put him on ignore. I hate to petition Matthew to have him banned, as these are decisions best taken by Matthew himself, free of any outside pressure.

St. Jude, who, disregarding the threats of the impious, courageously preached the doctrine of Christ,
    pray for us.

  • I only put posters on Hide if they insult me personally-- and not even all of those. I say let Pax hang himself as he has already done.

  • He can be annoying no doubt, not to mention a bit nasty...called me a dufus and called one or two people here a fool.

I just have him on ignore. Banning him wouldn't hurt, but it's Matthew's decision. I don't have much of a preference.
Please ignore ALL of my posts. I was naive during my time posting on this forum and didn’t know any better. I retract and deeply regret any and all uncharitable or erroneous statements I ever made here.

  • Pax is not a troll.  There is no reason to ban him.  People who attempt defend the conciliarism should be welcomed since the traditionalist position is true; we should kindly help them understand.

  • Agreed. He's not a troll. Leave him be. he doesn't go around posting quote after quote in big letters, without engaging people. I say let him stay.

  • Of course this is what you are referring to:

It is hard for you to admit when you are wrong, but keep praying for humility and maybe you will succeed.

  • Pax, you are the one that needs to come clean.

Who are you? What is your deal, man?

You said you were a sede at the CMRI, and now are not anymore. What? Did you apostasize entirely? Or did you just want the easy way out? Did you go back to NO? Or did you "fill in blank"?

It just makes no sense and you strike me as a mole in some ways. No offense, but I would like a better explanation of all this.

Born in 1955. Baptized in the Catholic Church under the Pontificate of Pope Pius XII. Attended Catholic parochial school. Apostasized around Grade 8. Returned to the Church about 20 years kater. Was utterly shocked and dismayed by the condition of the Mass and the wretched catechizing of the Faithful. Someone invited me to attend Masses being held about 1.5 hours away said by a priest of CMRI. Bought into sedevacantism. Was brought back to the Church about 3 years later by a holy priest who pointed out to me that I was operating outside of the boundaries established for me by God. So I put away my pride and humbly submitted myself to His Holiness John Paul II. I never did like the guy, but then God never said I had to like the guy. He only commanded me to submit to those whom He had placed in authority over me. So I did.

By all means let me stay. I hate arguing with people that I agree with. Its like having a pillow fight. This is more like a Donneybrook.

    Indeed.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

Ah, so in your estimation CMRI and sedes are outside the Church.

And now I understand why you treat sedes like some ex-smokers treat smokers.

What about SSPX, are they oustide the Church too in your estimation?

No. SSPX recognizes Pope Benedict XVI as the legitimate Successor of Blessed Peter.

I refer you to the Encyclical Letter Mortalium Animos, par. 11.

  • By the way, if St Jude Thaddeus is going to call me "Pox" can I call him "St Rude Blandeus"?
